Nearly a third of your visitors block your pixel. I put those conversions back in the loop in under ten days.

Your ad platforms optimise without them and spend anyway. I rewire consent, your platforms and your CRM onto a single piece of infrastructure: yours. You keep the keys, and the code belongs to you.

What your ad platforms stopped receiving

Every platform needs a conversion signal to learn from. Between your customer's browser and their servers, part of that signal quietly disappears. The algorithm keeps spending regardless. It just learns less well.

Verdict

The most valuable sale on this list is the one your ad platforms will never hear about.

What it costs you, line by line

Five ways to lose money without ever seeing it on an invoice. Every figure links to its source, so you can check all of it.

29.5%

of your visitors block your pixel by default

Out of a hundred people landing on your site, around thirty do not exist for your ad platforms. You paid for their click, you will never know what they did next. Global, all devices, Q2 2025, and Europe sits above it.

more conversions than your reports are counting

The median gap Meta measures between advertisers sending conversions server-side and those staying on the pixel alone. You cut campaigns that were profitable and keep ones that are not: the decision is wrong before it is even made.

SourceMeta, about the Conversions API
4/10

the grade Meta gives your data

Below 6, the algorithm stops optimising on people and starts optimising on noise. It spends your budget at exactly the same rate, it simply aims worse. That is the usual score for a pixel-only account: Meta rates 6 good, 8 great.

fine if your site drops cookies without consent

That is the ceiling of the French regulator's simplified procedure, the one that lands in months rather than years. Under the ordinary procedure it reaches 4% of worldwide turnover. Across more than 500 sites run through the scanner, two out of three fire their ad scripts before anyone touches the banner.

Consent, your ad platforms and your CRM do not talk to each other. I wire them onto a single piece of infrastructure, yours, and what used to fall between the three finally arrives.

Three blocks, one chain

Each one sells on its own and fixes a problem you already have. Together they form the complete engine, because no block stands up without the one before it.

01Safety & compliance

Server-Side & Privacy

Your site stops being a legal liability and becomes infrastructure that belongs to you.

Today

Your ad scripts fire before the visitor has touched the banner. The banner is decorative, and you are one complaint away from an audit.

After

The banner actually commands the scripts, European compliance is in place, and your data travels through your own domain instead of somebody else's.

Conversion Tracking

Your ad platforms stop learning from scraps and go back to working for you.

Today

Meta and Google see a fraction of your conversions. Your campaigns never really leave the learning phase, your cost per lead climbs, and nobody can say why.

After

The algorithms receive complete, hashed purchase signals. They target better, learn faster, and your acquisition cost comes back down.

B2B Attribution & RevOps

The blind spot between your sales team and your marketing disappears, with the numbers to prove it.

Today

Your reps sign contracts marketing cannot tie back to a campaign. Google and Meta optimise on filled-in forms, never on revenue.

After

Every euro collected traces back to the campaign that produced it. Budget moves on its own toward the audiences generating real revenue, and your leadership finally sees the whole line.

Full Engine

All three blocks at once, from lawful collection on the site through to revenue fed back into your campaigns. It is what most projects end up taking, because the blocks are only interesting wired to each other.

Around ten days of build, depending on CRM complexity.

Tracking does not break on its own

It breaks when an API changes version, when a browser tightens its rules, when the site is rebuilt on a Friday night. Two formulas, depending on whether you want to sleep at night or move faster.

A

Governance & Maintenance

You never again learn from your agency that collection has been down for three weeks.

What you get out of it
  • Your conversion streams are watched continuously, not once it shows
  • A redesign or a new form no longer breaks measurement
  • A monthly read on your data quality, in plain language
  • Expert time reserved every month, no quote for every question
B

Growth & Optimisation

Everything above, plus someone using that data to bring your costs down.

What you get out of it
  • Every new funnel is measured at launch, not three months later
  • Budget calls rest on real revenue rather than lead counts
  • Scripts are tested and refined to capture more
  • Someone who speaks your traffic manager's language

Three pieces of software I wrote

Storylink is an attribution platform I have been running in production since 2021, for clients in France, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia. The scanner and the monitoring came out of it: what it took to keep it running became a diagnostic tool and a monitoring tool. Those two work on your engagements.

Platform

Storylink

Five years building attribution that holds. One tracking link, and every sale finds its origin again: the campaign, the audience, the channel. Including when the contract is signed over the phone months after the first click. Version 0.1 in 2021 for five clients, public version in October 2024.

  • Ties a sale back to its first click up to 36 months later
  • Follows the same prospect across devices and sessions
  • Works without cookies, within the GDPR framework
  • Sends conversions back to the Meta API and to your CRM
Diagnostics

Omnitrack Scanner

You give it a URL, you get the state of your tracking in a minute: which tools are actually running, which events fire, what goes off before consent, and the order of magnitude of what you are losing. No sign-up, the report is yours. More than 500 sites have been through it.

  • You see every pixel running on your site
  • You know which events fire and which never arrive
  • You know whether your scripts run before consent
  • You leave with a score and the fixes to apply
Surveillance

Omnitrack Monitoring

Wired into your infrastructure, it checks continuously that everything holds. The day a stream stops, you hear it from an alert rather than from a hole in your month-end numbers. It runs in production at my clients today.

  • A collection outage shows in hours, not weeks
  • Consent is verified continuously, not once at handover
  • Your conversions are followed all the way into the CRM
  • Included in both retainer formulas

What if I want to bring this in-house later?

The architecture I build belongs to you. I can host it on my servers or on yours, whichever you prefer. But the day the engagement ends, you leave with it. The code, the infrastructure, the history. No subscription to cancel, no third-party tool holding you hostage, nothing to buy back to keep measuring.

Who are my services for?

Three situations, one symptom: ad spend on one side, revenue on the other, and nothing reliable left in between.

Younes Elab, tracking engineer

My background

Eleven years writing code before I wrote any of it for measurement. That is why what you get is infrastructure rather than a configuration: the server, the pipelines and the code holding them together are my original trade. I have practised it for companies ranging from the very small to CAC 40 groups.

For the last seven years that code has served measurement. I have worked in web analytics on large accounts, among them Banque Populaire and Caisse d'Épargne. Since 2021 I have been running Storylink in production.
